OOS@DLR: RICADOS++

Abstract

This talk gives an overview of DLR's RICADOS++ project. In RICADOS++, key technologies for inspection, rendezvous, capture and detumbling are developed in a holistic manner alongside the ground segment and mission operation procedures. Following an agile project management philosophy, new development increments are tested bi-weekly in a fully integrated simulation environment, including Hardware-in-the-Loop facilities for rendezvous and capture, real sensors and robotics hardware, as well as the real German Space Operation Center's mission control infrastructure. In this way, the setup allows to progress from a laboratory level, to engineering models, and finally to flight hard-/software and mission operations.
