Kurzfassung
The paper starts by introducing the areas covered by the TS-X system verification plan. The paper explains the planning and execution of the data takes during the commissioning phase using a dedicated commissioning phase planning tool. From the different areas of commissioning phase characterization and verification a 11- day-repeat cycle based priority concept was established - the overall acquisition schedule. The planning tool then allowed for conflict free planning of data takes. This was crucial to ensure proper interaction and to avoid conflicts during the detailed planning and data take execution. Additionally, fast cycle based re-planning and automatic generation of thousands of statistical data takes was possible; very valuable e.g. in the evaluation of rx-gain of BAQ setting. The paper provides a selection of TS-X images acquired during the commissioning phase. It either provides background on the images like: intention of data take, achieved improvement in commanding parameters, or provides reference to succeeding papers of the IGARSS Commissioning Phase Session.
