Abstract
The DLR-Agency (Raumfahrtagentur - RfA) of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) requested a Phase 0 Study in preparation of a new Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Mission in X-Band. This mission should be a successor of TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X that continues the German line of X-band SAR systems [AD-02]. In advance, RfA executed a user survey. OHB is the main contractor to the Phase 0 study. DLR-HR-RKO is subcontractor to OHB and provides the work package 311 SAR Instrument Konzepte, Definition & Trade-Offs.
