Abstract

This report presents the first of two parts regarding the results of task 1 of the study: the design and description of the baseline instrument concept. The intention of the study and the instrument concept is the investigation of the OSCM concept in a different frequency band, i.e., Ka-band. The OSCM study is an existing concept in Ku-band, in order to measure the Ocean surface velocity. The resulting performance of the concept is presented in the second part of task 1.
