Abstract
This document presents the results of the validation EXE-06.08.05-VP167 (EXE167) which contributes to the P06.08.05 D11 “OSED”. The Validation is part of the step 2 activities of P06.08.05 in OFA01.03.01 “Enhanced Runway Throughput”. The validation exercise is performed with fast time simulation and with main focus on results for Zurich Airport but also for generic airports. The used validation platform was AirTOp and the defined scenarios based on the 06.08.05 D55 “Approach Procedures Charts and Path Terminators for RNP transition to GLS and DTs” document. EXE167 provides input for the KPAs capacity, environment, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. EXE167 evaluates GBAS dual threshold operations with GBAS equipped aircraft at different levels (0%, 60%, and 90%) as well as different traffic mixes.
