Abstract

The aim of this work was to establish an efficient method to find Multi Model Coupling parameters for numerical simulations of aircraft impacting on water. The method was developed using a single aisle transport aircraft fuselage section dropped vertically on water. After achieving good results in terms of reduced computing time, this method was applied to a flexible full aircraft model.
