Abstract

The session will cover the challenges that ATM faces in the near future regarding the integration of Remotely Piloted Aircraft into non-segregated civil airspace. AT-One offers stakeholders support in validating system concepts by means of simulation. ATM goal for near future: a stepwise integration of Remotely Piloted Aircraft into civil airspace. Added value of AT-One in achieving this goal: (1) relevant experiences gained in projects like SINUE, INOUI, E4U, and USICO; and (2) unique, coupled simulation facilities for concept validation studies including ATC Radar and Remotely Piloted Station simulation facilities. Near future challenges for research and development will on this topic.
