Abstract
The primary objective of the TanDEM-X mission is the generation of a global high resolution digital elevation model (DEM) with single-pass SAR interferometry. In order to globallymonitor and optimize the systemperformance, TanDEMX quicklook data and quality indicators in the annotation files are used to generate large scale maps. With these maps, DEM performance limitations can be analyzed and improved solutions for future acquisitions can be found.
