The fundamental concepts of the imcompressible unsteady thin airfoil theory are introduced and terms for the unsteady aerodynamic forces are presented. Basing on this results a systematic procedure is presented, which enables the computation of the aerodynamic forces acting on any arbitrary time dependent camberline. Finally, a comparison to the results of numerical algorithms is presented.
