Abstract
For the TanDEM-X Mission the satellite TDX-1 will perform TerraSAR-X Mission acquisitions in order to allow the TSX-1 satellite to perform TanDEM-X Mission acquisitions. The TDX-1 satellite is primary a rebuild of the TSX-1 satellite. Nevertheless slight hardware difference and the constraints due to a dual satellite operation in a close formation have to be analysed to specify the effects for the TerraSAR-X Mission operation and its products. This report documents the performed analysis and its results performed to identify the effect of TDX-1 usage for the TerraSAR-X Mission.
