Abstract

Combinations between underlying sensing layers (thin film Al doped SnO2, deposited on a substrate via magnetron sputtering technique) and filter layers (screen printed BaTi0,95Rh0,05O3) were used in order to decrease the cross interference to H2 for the detection of CO. It was demonstrated that the catalytic filter almost fully eliminates the response to H2 while preserving the ability to detect CO in the relevant concentration range in both humid and dry air backgrounds.
