Abstract

The IHM is organisationally and technically embedded  in the MOS environment. Only S-Band telemetry data will  be analysed for the health monitoring of the instrument.   The main focus of the IHM is the monitoring of instrument  relevant parameters with respect to performance and operational  limit. The prevention of instrument destruction has to be  covered by On-Board Control Procedures (OBCP) within Fault-Detection, Fault-Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) and is no task of the IHM.  Instrument related contingency recovery procedures are described in [RD-08].
