Abstract

The process of structural dynamic modelling of the flexible rotor blade in a multibody system is demonstrated for the BO105 and ERATO rotors. Flexibility of the non-rotating blade is described in the multibody system SIMPACK with a modal approach which is gained from a real modes solution and additional geometric stiffness contributions for the rotating blade are considered by static load cases, both computed in a preprocessing step with the finite element software MSC.NASTRAN.
