Kurzfassung
-> New technologies to realize the ACARE vision 2020 induce important challenges concerning Aeroelasticity -> Fixed-wing aircraft - Challenges for aeroelastic analyses for standard configurations are mainly driven by cost & time requirements - For unconventional configurations appropriate experimental and numerical methods must be made applicable to anticipate the decisive aeroelastic effects -> Engines - Increase of aeroelastic couplings for new engine design concepts - Open rotor: engine/airframe dynamic couplings have to be analyzed “in time” -> Rotorcraft - Need & potential of improvement in the field of physics-based methods
