Abstract

An approach based on microwave radiometry for landmine detection and discrimination is shown. Theoretrical aspects of interference based effects for specific layered arrangements and the interpretation of frequency spectra of buried objects are presented. Examples of experimental measurements and comparison to theoreteical results are shown.
