Abstract
An approach based on microwave radiometry for landmine detection and discrimination is shown. Theoretical aspects of interfaerence based effects for specific layered arrangements and the interpretation of frequency spectrum of buned objects are presented. Examples of experimental measurements and comparison to theoretical results are shown.
