Abstract

The purpose of this document is to give an overview and summary about the B-parameter (or the effective radar velocity, respectively) and all corresponding performance and processing parameters. In case of a satellite SAR system e.g. more than one velocity has to be considered. Different methods for B-Parameter estimation are presented and analyzed. In order to analyze their accuracy simulations were carried out. Recommendations w.r.t the presented methods and their accuracy are given in terms of using the B-Parameter in SAR processing.
