TerraSAR-X IOCS: Magic T Hybrid Coupler Flight Model Characteristics

Bräutigam, Benjamin (2008) TerraSAR-X IOCS: Magic T Hybrid Coupler Flight Model Characteristics. Project Report. TX-IOCS-TN-ICAL-4318. 20 S.

Abstract

This technical note analyses the characteristics of the Magic T used in the TerraSAR-X instrument. On-ground as well as in-flight data have been used for evaluation. The basis for analysis has been taken from Astrium on-ground characterisation and verification documents. The influence of the Magic T on SAR signal reconstruction has already been treated in TX-SEC-TN-4208 by C. Laux. The algorithms in that reference are revised in this document.
