Abstract
The documentation describes oscillator phase noise representation and gives expressions for monostatic, bistatic and interferometric phase including phase noise. The TanDEM-X synchronization scheme is described through a hardware block diagram, which is used to derive the compensation signal. Finally, the individual error contributions to the synchronization link itself are analyzed.
