Abstract

A transonic multi-lifting surface design method and the corresponding codes are further developed to improve the convergence character in higher Mach number cases at transonic flow. It is coupled with the DLR RANS solver TAU and the mesh generatotr CENTAUR to design canard-wing configurations and a blended wing body. The results show that the convergence of the analysis/design iteration procedure is significantly improved
