Abstract

A new actuator disk model for unstructured grids with a new grid topology that maintains fluxes conservative through the disk and applies a discontinous pressure jump to the flow. The input data set is the distribution of sectional load of the rotating blade which is calculated with the blade element theory or read in by file IO.
