Abstract

A vibration test was performed on a camera support structure, a so-called Scheimpflugadapter. The tested structure was mounted on a multi-axial test facility and tested into the direction of the three translational axes. Sine sweep runs from 5 to 100 Hz with a maximum acceleration level of 4.5 g were performed. Also, a 10 min random excitation into the direction of one lateral axis was applied. The inspection of the Scheimpflugadapter after each test run showed that the adjustment mechanism was properly locked and that no displacements occured.
