A simple structure is investigated within the framework of the software tool for the ANSYS finite-element analysis. The structure represents the wind tunnel model of the clean wing of a four-engine commercial airplane (AIRBUS type of plaform). The external definitionof the wing shape and its integration into the framework of the FE analysis is shown. The structure is loaded by fluid forces given in terms of pressure acting on the surface of the structure. The loads lead to a deflected structure which is equivalent to new boundaries for the fluid. Iteration of the scheme forms the static or transient solutions. The approach is still in the process of being developed, and the paper reflects the author's current state of research in thisfield. The paper focuses on the static convergencee of the procedure.
