Abstract
Shake tests were performed on the new multi-purpose helicopter EC 135 developed by Eurocopter. The purpose of the tests was the evaluation of the performance characteristics of the installed vibration reduction system ARIS. Comprehensive investigations on the tuning capabilities of the system were performed. Furthermore, significant normal modes were identified to enable a correlation with the mathematical predictions. The present report describes the test performance and summarizes the main test results.
