Abstract

This report deals with structural dynamic aspects of a planned on-orbit experiment with an inflatable space rigidised structure (ISRS). The experiment support and the ISRS Boom are analysed. The entire deployed experiment arrangement is investigated and the dynamic behaviour is simulated. A structural dynamics test procedure is proposed. The experiment requirements with respect to the structural dynamic behaviour are summarised. A procedure for experiment verification and qualification is briefly outlined.
