Mach number effect on 3D-wave packets in subsonic flat plate boundary layer

Delfs, J. (1996) Mach number effect on 3D-wave packets in subsonic flat plate boundary layer. In: Proc. EUROMECH Colloquium 353 "Dynamics of localized disturbances in engineering flows", Karlsruhe, 1.-3.4.1996., pp. 57-58.

Abstract

The effect of Mach number on the characteristics of unstable three-dimensional wave-packets is studied in the subsonic regime. Pronounced three-dimensionality starts to occur at M>0.7 for the adiabatic flat plate flow.
