On 6-7 March 1996 an International Workshop was held in the DLR Institute for Design Aerodynamics, Braunschweig, based on 26 contributions of different European firms, research institutes and universities. The workshop was sponsored by the Commission of the European Communities under Brite/Euram III. In seven sessions the following aspects were dealt with turbofan integration, application of theoretical methods, engine location, nacelle flow, propeller integration, turbo-powered simulator technique and jet flows. The proceedings contain the written papers submitted by the authors.
