Abstract

The validation of available calculation codes for the description of the flow around a complex airplane geometry makes it necessary to carry out experiments in the wind tunnel. For the comparison of computational and experimental data, it is important to make sure that the same geometry is used. In this case, there was no certainty about the similarity of the old computational geometry and the design geometry. This made it necessary to compare the design geometry with the model geometry, and the design geometry with the computational geometry, which is actually used for the calculation until now. Both is done in this paper.
