a flow simulation is presented for the HALIS configuration with body flap deflected 15 degrees, free stream Mach number 10 and 40 degrees incidence. The results are obtained with the Navier-Stokes code CEVCATS. The flow was computed as laminar and assuming calorically perfect gas, according to cold wind tunnel test conditions. The accuracy of the computed solution is addressed by grid refinement studies and by comparing numerical results with available experimental data. For the complete configuration results are shown for two grids of approximately 2600000 and 400000 points respectively. Additionally, for the flow around the windward side of the body flap a local solution is provided on a finer mesh equivalent to a global grid of about 21 million points. Discrepancies on flow topology between different grid solutions correspond to the size of one cell of the surface grid.
