Abstract

Within the ELFIN program, a Fokker F100 aircraft equipped with a wing glove designed for natural flow was used, to investigate the influence of rivets and steps on transition. Based on Infra-Red pictures of the glove surface this influence was analized with respect to reduction or loss of laminar flow.
