Abstract

An Approach towards an integrated structure/control design is proposed. The logic to achieve the design integration is based on multiobjective parameter optimization, which allows to take care of structural and control design requirements explicitely and simultaneously. By example of an active Extendable Retractable Mast (ERM) the control design part of this approach is demonstrated.
