Kurzfassung
This poster examines whether transparency can support appropriate trust in AI-based pilot assistance systems. Using the Intelligent Pilot Advisory System (IPAS) as a research platform, two interface variants with different levels of transparency were compared. The findings suggest that additional transparency does not necessarily increase overall trust, but rather helps pilots better assess whether their level of trust in the system is appropriate.
