EDA Accommodation Validation 2024 - D2 - Demonstration Flight Report

Kurzfassung

This document is the Demonstration Flight Report (DEMOR), for the EDA Accommodation Validation 2024 project and consists of the core document of the DEMOR, the Safety Plan and the Human Performance Plan. The document gives an overview of the exercise performed in the project and all safety and human performance activities. The performed live flights with a large RPAS, the German Heron TP, in a cross-border setting between Germany and the Netherlands, where the flight took place as General Air Traffic in class A-C airspace under control of civil and military air traffic control. One flight above FL245 was under control of the Maastricht Upper Airspace Centre (MUAC) and another flight in FL190/200 was under control of DFS and LVNL. The flights were performed in the context of Airspace Accommodation for which dedicated measures can be taken to allow the flight to take place in controlled airspace.
