Abstract

For the Biomass mission a number of Biomass parameters are validated through the acquisition and evaluation of targets of opportunities. In this document we address the following parameters: NESN estimation, ENL/radiometric resolution, polarimetric cross-talk and channel imbalance, as well as the evaluation of the system spectral dispersion. In-orbit performance prediction for the first two parameters is achieved through the analyses of data takes simulated by BEEPS, whereas for the polarimetric parameters ALOS-1 data are employed.
