Abstract
Liquid hydrogen as an aviation fuel raises complex challenges not only for aircraft design but also for airport operations. Integrating liquid hydrogen into existing ground processes requires new refuelling concepts, adapted safety procedures and dedicated infrastructure. The presentation outlines key technical and operational requirements for the safe and efficient ground handling of hydrogen-powered aircraft.
