Abstract

Revolutionary propulsion concepts need to be investigated in order to find solutions for a climate compatible aviation in future. Many of those concepts incroporate heat exchangers into the aero engine design. This presentation presents the developements at the Institute of Propulsion Technology in order to achieve multi-fidelity analysis and simulation of heat exchangers in this context. The coupling procedures and first results of the analysis are present, outlining the suitability of the approach.
