Abstract

The aim of this ongoing project is to close this gap in the process chain. A pressure measurement system based on micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) that is suitable for both aerodynamic and aeroacoustic analyses is being combined with methods for pressure field reconstruction and flow separation detection. The current paper presents the results from a first set of wind tunnel demonstrator tests whereas the medium-term goal is the prototypical use of such a system in the DLR WiValdi research wind park.
