Abstract

All-sky imagers (ASIs) are increasingly used for applications such as solar energy forecasting, cloud and aerosol detection, and radiative measurements. To facilitate automated and reproducible data processing, the Sky-Imaging Python package was developed as an open-source toolbox for ASI image analysis. The package integrates modules for image pre-processing, geometric calibration (SuMo), anomaly detection, and data fusion and visualization.
