Abstract

Diese Studie stellt ein neuartiges Konzept vor: batteriebetriebene Regionalzüge als mobile Energieträger. Diese Züge werden an Depots mit erneuerbarer Energie geladen und transportieren nicht nur Passagiere, sondern liefern auch saubere Energie an Off-Grid- oder schwer zugängliche Gebiete, um Mikronetze, Bahnhofsoperationen und das Aufladen von Fahrzeugen zu unterstützen. Dieses Konzept nutzt regionale Bahnnetze, insbesondere in topografisch vielfältigen oder teilweise elektrifizierten Korridoren, um nachhaltige Energieverteilung und sauberen Transport zu fördern.
