Abstract
This document describes how to use the software ICAL, the Internal Calibration IDL project. ICAL (Internal Calibration) performs all algorithmic steps necessary for characterising and calibrating short-term instrument drifts. The "Getting Started" for the Internal Calibration Software is a short introduction how to use ICAL in IDL. A complete User Manual is provided separately in [AD - 2]. The design and algorithms of Internal Calibration is described in the TerraSAR-X "Calibration Section Design Document" [AD - 1].
