Abstract

This report describes the activities and results of the subproject "Teleoperation with AI Shared Control" of the joint project "AI-enabled Cyber-Physical In-Orbit Factory". The overall objective of the project is to establish a process based on AI methods for the production of small satellites in orbit, thus paving the way for automated, flexible and fast production and commissioning of small satellites directly in orbit. The research focus of the described subproject is on (i) novel multimodal virtual fixtures for high-precise teleoperation tasks, (ii) their state control / arbitration and (iii) user studies.
