Abstract

Wind turbines immersed in atmospheric turbulence experiences scales large enough to induce noise generation on the leading edge. Various scales of turbulence were investigated in the Acoustic Wind Tunnel Braunschweig using turbulence grids. This work presents the turbulence measurements and a preliminary comparison with numerical simulations.
