Abstract

We addressed users' dissatisfaction with myoelectric prostheses by focusing on the co-adaptation of the user and prosthesis through incrementality in myocontrol. For this purpose, we have investigated improvements in the usage of muscle signals, employed Radical Constructivism for a structured approach to interaction, and developed a novel assessment and training protocol for multi-articulated upper-limb prostheses.
