Abstract

Traditionally, vibration- or strain-based approaches are used for structural health monitoring of wind turbine blades. In this work we investigate if aerodynamic measurements from a novel sensor system can be used for damage detection on an elastic, aerodynamically loaded structure. The poster gives an overview over the research activities conducted so far.
