Abstract

This work aims to distinguish mental and metabolic components of the changes in physiology while using public or shared transport. In order to achieve this, a study is conducted in which the participants are asked to put on a smart shirt that records physiological data(e.g breathing and heart rate) and perform a series of tasks. Based on the findings in this study, a support vector classifier is constructed which aims to separate metabolic readings and metabolic readings combined with mental stress.
