This presentation demonstrates the potential of fuel cells, batteries, and DC grids in decarbonizing cruise ships and eliminating pollutants during their operation near ports and sensitive environments. It is shown that PEM fuel cells and batteries can enable up to 11.5% energy savings, with DC grids augmenting a further 2.2- 4.3% energy savings. This presentation was given during the "Off-Highway Vehicle & Powertrain Development Panel" panel.
