Abstract

This work recapitulates DLR's contributions to the activities of the Large Deflection Working Group of the 3rd Aeroelastic Prediction Workshop. Static and unsteady coupling simulations with structural and aerodynamic nonlinearities as well as flutter predictions have been conducted for the Pazy Wing test case, a highly flexible wind tunnel model. Furthermore, the approach and the results of steady and static coupling CFD simulations with free transition modeling are presented.
