Abstract

This paper describes the current status and future plans for a comprehensive GNSS performance analysis and monitoring system that is being developed at the DLR Galileo Competence Center. This system shall enable a straight comparison of Galileo to other GNSSs by using data from the same global network of ground tracking stations and the same algorithms for the computation of performance indicators. Monitoring of the GNSS satellite signals will be performed with real-time data so that deviations can be promptly detected and warnings distributed. The monitoring system comprises of a network of ground tracking stations, long-time database, processing software and a user-friendly website for presenting the performance parameters.
