Abstract
Beim Aluminiumguss treten speziell beim Entformen und Ankernen Probleme auf, wie sie beim Stahl- oder Eisenguss unbekannt sind. Organische Aerogele haben Eigenschaften, die sie für einen Einsatz speziell im Bereich Leichtmetallguss interessant machen. Aerogele sind hoch poröse Materialien, die mit Hilfe der Sol-Gel-Technik durch Polymerisation und Polykondensation hergestellt werden. Insbesondere ökonomische Vorteile machen Aerosande als neuen Formstoff interessant.
