Abstract

This report is the second part of the evaluation of the aeroelastic toolkit ZAERO Version 7.0, which is focused on the appliance of the transonic unsteady aerodynamic methods ZTAIC and ZTRAN with respect to flutter analysis. In addition the Transonic Doublet Lattice Method (TDLM) exists at DLR Institute for Aeroelasticity. As all methods need steady flowfield input they are fed with results from the same unsteady CFD-code EUVISB. The resulting pressure-, lift- and moment-distributions of the time-linearized methods are compared to the original steady and unsteady CFD-results.
